We are on the lookout for Experienced Animal Technicians in the Milton Keynes area. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine husbandry duties, including feeding, cleaning, watering, and ensuring the welfare of the animals are in line with Home Office and GMP regulations
- Conduct health checks and room checks
- Perform Paracox QC testing (oocyst counts) following SOPs and GMP compliance
- Assist with regulated procedures when required
- Be responsible for cleaning rooms and workspaces
- Raising of deviations in the Quality Management System and completion of
- non-investigative records
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a research facility with rodents
- Experience in animal husbandry and competent in health checks
- Ability to identify deviations and raise events in the Quality Management System
- Home Office License (preferred)
- Knowledge of Animals Scientific Procedures Act 1986
This opportunity is a 12-month contract with potential to move to a permanent position.
