Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of learners? We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver an engaging and creative English curriculum and make a meaningful impact on students’ academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative English lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and (desirably) KS5.
  • Develop lesson plans that are aligned with curriculum standards and tailored to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Inspire a love of literature and language, encouraging critical thinking and effective communication skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS/NQT/PGCE/QTLS or equivalent qualification, with a degree in English or a related subject.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to raising attainment levels.
  • Energetic, positive, and adaptable with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level, with the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • A current DBS registered on the update system (or willingness to apply for one).
