Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team at a well-established school in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. This is a permanent, full-time position with a January 2024 start. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students across a range of abilities, supporting their development and fostering a love for mathematics.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress through assignments, tests, and formal exams.
  • Provide high-quality feedback and support students in achieving their academic potential.
  • Take on full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, and pastoral duties.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure curriculum continuity and development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
  • Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Stay current with the national curriculum and examination board requirements.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Ability to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
  • Experience of teaching in UK secondary schools is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
