Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join our school in Milton Keynes. This position offers the flexibility of starting on a temporary basis with the potential to transition into a permanent role, or a direct permanent placement for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons and inspiring students to develop a love for sports and fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of age groups and abilities.
  • Promote physical activity and well-being within the school community.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging teamwork, discipline, and motivation in students.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as sports teams and school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the PE curriculum is cohesive and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, with experience in teaching PE.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (if applying for a Temp to Perm position).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A passion for promoting physical fitness and well-being in young people.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students in a variety of sports and activities.
