About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE teacher to join a well-established SEN school in Milton Keynes. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment, catering to students with a range of needs. Your role will be to inspire confidence, independence, and physical development in each student through engaging and tailored PE lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess physical education lessons adapted to the individual abilities and needs of students.
- Promote physical activity, teamwork, and personal growth in students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic approach to student wellbeing.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to thrive.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a special educational needs setting is desirable but not essential-enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for PE are key.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- A flexible and creative approach to adapting PE activities to suit a wide range of abilities.
