Position: Science Teacher
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £29,344 - £44,919
Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: September 2024
About the Role: We are looking for Science Teachers who are looking to ignite curiosity and create a love for science in young minds. We are representing an educational institution who are committed to academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Develop and implement a challenging and inspiring curriculum that meets national standards
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Participate in extracurricular science activities and school events to enhance student learning experiences
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Science or a related field
- Proven experience teaching science in an educational setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
