We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work at an outstanding school in the Milton Keynes area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, making a positive impact on the educational experience of our students.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher, providing targeted support to individuals or small groups
  • Contribute to the creation and adaptation of resources, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of students and support the school's curriculum objectives
  • Assist in the assessment of students' progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and teachers. Help implement strategies to address areas for improvement
  • Support the maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom environment by implementing the school's behaviour management policies consistently and effectively
  • Provide support to students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about educational best practices and contribute to a culture of learning within the school

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent is essential
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • A commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children
