We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join my client’s school. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The HLTA will play a crucial role in supporting our teaching staff and enhancing student learning experiences.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons across various subjects.
  • Work under the guidance of the teaching staff to support educational activities in the classroom.
  • Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Manage classroom resources and setup for lessons.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed.
  • Be willing to lead classes and teach independently in the afternoons.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must possess Level 3 HLTA qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
