Teaching Tomorrow are working with a primary school in Milton Keynes that are looking for a year 5 part-time teacher to start immediately. 

This is a very good school based in Milton Keynes and is very accessible via public transport. This role is part-time and would be five days-a-week but only HALF DAYS and would require the succesfful candidate to do planning. 

The ideal candidate will inspire young learners, work with a great team and deliver a high standard of education in Year 5 as a primary teacher.

Responsibilities

- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters creativity.
- Communicate effectively with students and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and understanding among students.
- Organise extracurricular activities that enhance the educational experience and promote social skills.
- Stay updated with educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements

- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS) is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of all learners in the classroom.
- Experience in using technology as an educational tool is advantageous.
