At Supply Desk, we are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join a dynamic primary school in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will inspire and lead Year 5 pupils, delivering engaging lessons that fuel a love for learning and support students in achieving their full potential.

The Role/Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 students.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.

  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support where necessary.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning including participating in meetings or curriculum planning.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification (unqualified teachers are also welcome to apply).

  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school, specifically in Year 5 or KS2.

  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to education, with a passion for inspiring young learners.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • A creative and engaging teaching style, capable of making lessons fun and interactive.

  • Ability to commute to Milton Keynes.
