Retail Security Officer

Security Officer Required for Shopping Centre in MK2. £12.00/hr, 54 hours per week over 6 days, day shifts, will include weekends.

Additional hours will be available for cover within team and ad-hoc cover which may include nights.

Duties will include:

- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Protect property and assets by enforcing security protocols and procedures
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as medical emergencies or security breaches
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Unlocking and locking of Centre in line with Assignment procedures

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems, including CCTV
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises. You will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding to emergencies. We are looking for individuals who are attentive, proactive, and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Applicants must hold a valid SIA licence.

CCTV licence preferable, or candidate willing to train and gain licence during probation period.
