We are currently recruiting for a key role on behalf of our client, where your expertise will be essential in maintaining, repairing, and providing technical support.
Key Responsibilities for a Service Engineer
- Perform full servicing and repairs on a range of equipment.
- Analyse and report equipment failures, determining appropriate corrective actions.
- Document all findings, actions, and parts used on service/repair spreadsheets, including customer details.
- Support stock movement processes, ensuring efficient use of parts.
- Provide technical product and application support to customers.
- Offer customer training for service and repair procedures, when required.
- Respond to customer technical queries, including site visits if necessary.
- Assist with warehouse functions (goods in/out) and maintain stock levels.
Key skills for a Service Engineer
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
- Electrical engineering experience
- FGAS registered - desirable
