About the Role:
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the running and progression of Conveyancing transactions. Your duties will include:
- Handling incoming calls and communications, responding to client queries promptly, with support from colleagues where needed.
- Preparing, receiving, and verifying new client care packs electronically, working closely with Solicitors and Fee Earners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Verifying the identification and source of funds for all new clients.
- Conducting Title Checks under the guidance of a Fee Earner.
- Drafting and issuing Contract Packs.
- Obtaining redemption statements.
- Addressing pre-contact enquiries on sale files, working under the direct supervision of a Fee Earner.
- Preparing pre-completion paperwork, including invoices and Statements of Accounts.
- Keeping our case management system up to date with accurate information on the status of matters.
- Completing tasks assigned by Fee Earners or team members to ensure efficient and timely service delivery to clients.
- Building strong relationships with third-party stakeholders by offering excellent customer service.
- Undertaking ongoing training and professional development under the direction of our Compliance Director and Legal Operations Director.
About You:
We are looking for a motivated, professional, and team-oriented individual to join our friendly Conveyancing team. To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and developing your skills in residential conveyancing.
- A strong interest in property law and a willingness to adapt quickly to the demands of the role.
- While prior experience in conveyancing is an advantage, we are also keen to hear from candidates without experience who are eager to build a career in the field.
- The ability to work well within a team, with excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
