Job Outline:
Manpower is currently recruiting for a learning support assistant to join the team of one of our education, training centre clients based within Milton Keynes.
Provide individualised support strategies to pupils, ensuring they overcome barriers to learning and achieve their educational potential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Support: Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons tailored to meet student's needs.
  • Student Assistance: Help students overcome learning barriers and create positive educational opportunities.
  • Professional Relationships: Build and maintain professional relationships with students to facilitate effective guidance.
  • Independence Development: Support students in becoming independent learners.
  • Behaviour Standards: Promote high standards of behaviour and attitudes to create a positive learning environment.
  • Learning Plans: Create, review, and manage individual learning plans, recording support data daily as part of KPI tracking.
  • Health & Safety: Promote a positive Health & Safety culture, report accidents and near misses promptly, and follow safe work systems.
  • Safeguarding: Uphold commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and vulnerable adults.
  • Additional Duties: Accept reasonable alterations and additional tasks as required.
