About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Stantonbury School. This is a full-time, term-time position where you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs. The role involves working closely with classroom teachers to provide tailored assistance, helping students access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and helping them engage in lessons.
- Assisting classroom teachers with differentiated learning strategies and behavior management.
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to students where necessary.
- Encouraging student participation and promoting independent learning.
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
- A passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude.
