We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SENCo Teacher to join their team immediately. Role Overview

As the SENCo Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in driving the school's mission to provide exceptional support for students with diverse learning needs. You'll coordinate SEN provision, working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure every student thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHCPs tailored to meet the needs of each student.
  • Provide training, resources, and guidance to teachers, ensuring effective SEN provision across the school.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies, ensuring a cohesive support network for each child.
  • Monitor, assess, and adjust support plans as needed, ensuring compliance with statutory SEN requirements.
  • Champion best practices in SEN education, driving the school's commitment to inclusion and excellence.


What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) preferred.
  • Proven experience in working with children with special educational needs, ideally within a secondary or special provision setting.
  • A deep understanding of SEN best practices and statutory requirements, including the ability to design and oversee EHCPs.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • A compassionate, empathetic approach and unwavering commitment to helping every child reach their potential.
