Job Title: Team Manager - Family Support

Location/hybrid working: Milton Keynes Council Civic Offices Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office

Rate: £45ph umbrella

Ideal start date: ASAP

Duties:

• Ensure the Council performs its duties and functions in fulfilment of its statutory obligations in relation to child protection including authorisation of assessments, reports and care plans

• Coordinate the complex work of the team ensuring cases are allocated appropriately and promptly; responding to crisis by directing the work of the team to ensure urgent action is taken to prevent escalation of the problem.

• Ensure that all staff are trained, supervised, developed and supported to provide the best possible outcomes for children, families and carers

• Monitor the team’s performance in relation to local and key performance indicator
