Sonic Summary

Milton Keynes Council is looking for a qualified social worker to join its Children with Disabilities team.
The role involves working with children in need, children in care, and children on child protection plans who have disabilities, as well as their siblings.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, attending multi-disciplinary meetings, and occasional court work.
Candidates must be fully registered with Social Work England and have post-qualified experience in children's social care, preferably with a focus on disabilities.
The position offers hybrid working and a salary of £35,000 to £40,000, with a requirement of at least two years of post-qualified experience.

Our client, Milton Keynes Council, is seeking a social worker for its Children with Disabilities team.

The role will involve the following:

Within the Children with Disabilities Team, working with CIN, CP and LAC children who have disabilities, and at times their siblings.
To complete C&F assessments, reviews, Child Care Reviews, Initial and Review CP conferences, Multi disciplinary meetings, working with a range of professionals.
Occasional court work as required.
Hybrid working

Requirements of the role:

Qualified Social Worker
Fully Social Work England registered
Post-qualified experience working in a children’s social care statutory setting and ideally with specialist disabilities experience
