If so, this could be the perfect opportunity! Our client, a CNC machinery manufacturer, is recruiting for an Applications Engineer.   • Manually programming and setting up CNC turning machines with milling capabilities at customer sites after purchase.
  • Providing hands-on training to customers on programming, machine operation, and best practices.
  • Travelling to customer locations to install, test, and optimise precision automated turning/lathe machines.
  • Diagnosing and resolving programming, tooling, and operational issues to ensure machine efficiency and accuracy.
  • Working closely with engineering teams to improve processes, document machine setup procedures, and support ongoing technical development.
Applications EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in CNC programming, ideally from a machine shop background
  • Proficiency in manual programming and understanding of machine tooling (Siemens NX or SolidCAM knowledge would be an advantage)
  • Willingness to travel extensively for field-based customer support and training
