Role overview

My client are recruiting for a team member for the Automation Team who are responsible for the facilitation and implementation of new capabilities for full Infrastructure Automation.

This role will be responsible for developing, assisting with and implementing Infrastructure Automation solutions across the IT estate.

Knowledge and Skills required

  • Automation & Configuration Management Software (Ansible - *Mandatory Requirement)
  • Code Repository software (GitLab)
  • Experience with automation of Linux, Windows & VMware

Role responsibilities

  • Being a subject matter expert and taking on a consultative role as it pertains to infrastructure automation.
  • Setting standards/guidelines for IT Automation, both of the code itself and the level of documentation
  • Assisting other teams to resolve automation challenges as part of a centre of excellence for Infrastructure Automation
  • Other duties to be assigned
