We are working closely with a Consultancy firm in their search for an experienced Software Engineer to join their growing team. You will be working on a hybrid basis, mixture of working from home and out of the Milton Keynes office ocasionally.

Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must hold active Security Clearance (SC) to be eligible and be a sole UK national.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development, integration, rollout, and deliver of complex solutions.

Key requirements:

  • Experienced with different programming paradigms and languages covering full-stack technologies including web front end
  • Ability in assisting architectural activities to establish, manage, and maintain client-centred software solutions, including both air-gapped and secure private cloud solutions for our portfolio of clients
  • Expertise in at least two back-end technologies (ideally Java, Python)
  • Experience in vanilla JavaScript and at least one front-end technology stack (ideally React)
  • In depth knowledge of both Linux and Microsoft environments
  • Well versed in software integration, including Open-Source elements
  • Good exposure to DevOps and successful implementation of DevOps principles in real time projects.
  • Good understanding of Agile and Scrum framework.
  • Open-source software integration
  • Experience in Scaled Agile and DevOps environments, particularly within the Public Sector or Defence but this isn't essential
