Sonic Summary

The company is seeking an Integration Developer to join their team in Milton Keynes with a hybrid working model and a 35-hour work week.
The role involves designing and maintaining integrations between internal systems and external platforms, primarily using REST APIs and scripting in Python or JavaScript.
Candidates should have experience with integration projects, API development, and data migration, with a salary range of £40,000 to £45,000.
Additional benefits include 25 days of vacation rising to 30, a 5% pension contribution, and access to LinkedIn Learning and other awards.
Experience in industries such as distribution or manufacturing, as well as familiarity with MS Dynamics and SQL Server, is preferred but not required.

Role - Integration Developer aka Software Developer, API Developer, Python Developer, JavaScript Developer, Integration Specialist

Location - Milton Keynes / Hybrid - 35 hr week 3 days office

Salary - 40 - 45K + 25 Days rising to 30, 5% Pension, Linkedin Learning, Life 4x, Long Service and Discretionary awards

The role

Designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between internal systems and external platforms (e.g., EDI, finance, and banking systems).
Writing, consuming, and managing REST APIs to facilitate smooth system interactions.
Developing and maintaining scripts using Python / JavaScript to support integration workflows.
Leading integration and data migration efforts as we transition to a new ERP system, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaborating with our warehouse automation team to implement and support integrations for the AutoStore system.
Translating business requirements into technical integration solutions.
Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues to maintain operational reliability.
Ensuring all integrations are secure, efficient, and compliant with company policies and industry standards.
Documenting integration processes and providing training or support where needed.
Keeping up to date with the latest integration technologies and recommending improvements to enhance our tech stack.

Experience of integration with .Net Platforms and API Development
Experience in scripting e.g. Python and JavaScript
Experience with integration projects
Experience in Data Migration, Source Control and related tools e.g. GIT

Nice to Have’s

Experience in Distribution, Manufacturing or similar Industries.
