Junior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Location: Hybrid - Remote & Client Sites (Milton Keynes, London, M4 Corridor)Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled team working on large-scale public sector IT solutions. This role involves developing, integrating, and supporting complex software systems, collaborating with solution architects, customers, and industry leaders.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain full-stack applications, covering front-end (React) and back-end (Spring, Java, Python).Design and implement secure, scalable APIs and data-driven solutions.Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks, following DevOps best practices.Deploy and maintain software in Microsoft and Linux environments.Ensure compliance with security and performance standards in enterprise systems.

Essential Skills & ExperienceDegree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (React preferred), Java, and Python.Strong knowledge of API development, software architecture, and databases.Experience with DevOps, software versioning, and secure cloud-based deployments.UK Security Clearance (SC required, DV preferred).

Desirable ExperienceKnowledge of Docker, Scaled Agile, and public sector DevOps.Experience in software virtualization, data modelling, and cloud solutions.
