Manual Software Tester urgently required initially for 3 months FT role to then potentially go perm! My leading client in the technology space are after an important hire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Tester to really make their mark. We are looking for a flexible person with the ability to shape the role as they see fit, bring in their experiences and work with both the Programme Manager and Head of Development to build a core testing functionality within their agile SDLC practices. However, you must get your hands dirty, and have key skills in the technologies they use, so experience and skills in any of: SQL, API Testing, JavaScript, C#, front end UI and mobile devices with associated software (i.e. iOS, Android etc). They appreciate no candidate will fulfil all that stuff, so they are open minded! Experience of 1) writing and defining test plans and charters for complex projects. 2) Experienced in helping developers with defining and maintaining manual tests and test plans, 3) Provide comprehensive, factual reporting on concerns, risks and issues to the software developer and excellent verbal and written skills all key!A passion for agile / ideal. 2 days per week in Milton Keynes rest of the week remote. Up to £45k Pro Rata plus benefits.
