Position Overview: TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team. This is a full-time role located on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, ideal for candidates who are drivers due to the location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support students in achieving their learning goals.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and report on student progress, and adapt support strategies as necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working with young people with SEN is essential.
- Personality: A bubbly, energetic personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- DBS Check: A DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Transportation: Due to the location, candidates must be drivers.
