Position Overview: TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team. This is a full-time role located on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, ideal for candidates who are drivers due to the location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support students in achieving their learning goals.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, and adapt support strategies as necessary.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with young people with SEN is essential.
  • Personality: A bubbly, energetic personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • DBS Check: A DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Transportation: Due to the location, candidates must be drivers.
