We are committed to positively influencing the educational experiences of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are in search of a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to enhance our team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide individualised and small group support to students with SEN, adapting to their unique learning needs.
- Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to promote student success.
- Participate actively in classroom activities, contributing to a constructive and encouraging learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with teachers and parents to communicate updates effectively.
- Work alongside the SEN team to innovate and apply effective support strategies for our students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in working with children with SEN is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrable patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to supporting students with diverse educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Relevant training or qualifications in SEN support are beneficial but not mandatory.
