SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our clients team. In this role, you will support the classroom teacher and contribute to creating a positive learning environment for students across various age groups.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering lesson plans.
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and provide additional support as needed.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Help to manage student behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
- Assist in preparing and grading student assignments and assessments.
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to plan and implement school activities and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
