Aspire People is seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN setting in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with a proven background in working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Key Responsibilities:
*Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to students in Years 3 and 4.
*Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
*Managing and supporting pupils with a range of SEND and SEMH needs.
*Collaborating with support staff and other professionals to ensure positive outcomes for all pupils.
*Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment.
Essential Criteria:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Proven experience teaching in SEN settings, with expertise in SEMH, SEND, and ASC.
*Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and experience in planning for mixed-ability groups.
*Effective classroom management skills.
*Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
*Team Teach trained.
*RPI (Restrictive Physical Intervention) trained.
