About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering tailored educational support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualised learning plans (IEPs) to cater to the diverse needs of students.

Provide differentiated lessons that support the learning and development of pupils with SEN.

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and development.

Utilise a range of teaching techniques and resources to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.

Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, and relevant professionals.

Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEN coordinators, external specialists, and other educators to ensure consistent support for students.

Contribute to the development of whole-school SEN policies and strategies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and intervention plans.

Support students in developing their social, emotional, and communication skills.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and independence.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive learning experiences.

Provide pastoral care and guidance to students, fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Minimum of 6 months UK experience in a teaching role.

Experience working with children with special educational needs.

Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, interventions, and inclusive teaching practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:

Additional qualifications in SEN or related fields.

Experience using adaptive technologies and resources to support SEN pupils.

Knowledge of relevant safeguarding and child protection procedures.
