CandidateThey are looking for a self-motivated, energised, resourceful, and results-driven individual for their Tactical Purchasing Manager role. You will be a creative thinker who works well alone or as part of a collaborative team. This is a tactical role with emphasis on process improvements, management of a team of Inventory Specialists located in Poland, Expeditors located in the UK and Purchasing Coordinator also located in the UK (total 5 direct reports).

You will enjoy generating and analysing reports and will be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as demonstrate strong presentation skills.They are ideally looking for a candidate who is a Change Agent, able to think outside of the box and come up with innovative solutions.RoleKey responsibilities include:

  • Team and service management
  • Driving business optimisation
  • Spearheading initiatives within Purchasing & Logistics (Supply Chain)
  • Inventory management
  • Demand management
  • Logistics provider management
  • Ensuring effective collaboration with all departments

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Procurement (preferably in an electronic or FMCG environment)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the management of small teams
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in working with global teams
  • Demonstrated experience in process design, redesign, and continuous improvements
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

Renumeration

£45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum + Benefits.
