Company Overview:

Our client are a  leading construction firm specializing in new home construction, dedicated to delivering high-quality residential projects. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Intermediate Surveyor to join our team in Milton Keynes.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed measurements and valuations of new home construction projects.

- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.

- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.

- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts.

- Evaluate and negotiate contracts and variations.

- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.

- Provide support to senior surveyors and project managers as required.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in surveying, specifically in new home construction.

- Proficiency in surveying software and tools.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Full UK driving license.
