Key responsibilities for a Senior Hire Controller
- Manage and coordinate the hiring of a diverse range of plant equipment, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, and forklifts.
- Efficiently schedule and allocate plant equipment to meet customer demands and project timelines.
- Proactively plan and schedule routine maintenance and servicing of all plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of plant availability and maintenance schedules.
- Generate and process hire contracts and related documentation.
- Monitor and manage plant utilisation to maximise revenue and minimise downtime.
- Manage all incoming phone calls and emails relating to the plant.
