Job Title: Sales and Technical Support Representative - Turf CareLocation: Birmingham to South Coast, UK

Job Objective:We are seeking a dedicated individual to promote and sell Turf Care equipment, and irrigation products, as well as complete system sales across the UK, from Birmingham to the South Coast. The role will also involve selling irrigation fountains and aerators when required. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with installers, dealers, and irrigation consultants within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiations for product sales, ensuring successful contract awards across the territory.
  • Collaborate with the Division Manager to provide quotes for smaller irrigation projects.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Address all customer queries in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Work closely with existing customers to identify and pursue after-sales opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with specifiers and designers to increase awareness of products and their applications.
  • Coordinate with the sales office to ensure customer expectations are met and order requirements are fully realised.
  • Deliver product training to end-users, contractors, designers, and colleagues as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing product and personal development training.
  • Provide technical support for product queries and installations when required.
  • Monitor irrigation projects within the territory, offering technical support and installation oversight.
  • Create detailed technical reports following irrigation project visits.
  • Record all sales opportunities in the CRM tool.
  • Provide monthly reports detailing all activities within the territory.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and approach when engaging with a variety of customers, including contractors, designers, and senior management.

Key Requirements:

  • Technical Sales Experience. Full training will be provided on the products and services.
  • Previous experience in sales within the turf industry, specifically selling irrigation and aeration products, is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
