We are helping a well respected school in the Milton Keynes area find a Design & Technology Teacher to join their team.
This respected secondary school, situated in the heart of Milton Keynes, is committed to providing an engaging and high-quality education. The school encourages students to explore their potential and develop critical technical skills through a robust Design and Technology (D&T) curriculum.

The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join their D&T department. The ideal candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for teaching, a deep understanding of the subject, and the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities in areas such as product design, resistant materials, and digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities:


-Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that foster creativity, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can develop confidence in using tools, materials, and digital technologies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continued development of the D&T department.
-Actively participate in extracurricular activities and initiatives to inspire a passion for Design and Technology beyond the classroom.


Qualifications:


-A relevant degree in Design and Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary school level, with expertise in areas such as product design, materials, or CAD/CAM.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to inspiring student achievement.
- A passion for continuous professional development and staying current with educational and technological advancements.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
