Summary
As a Warehouse Operator you will be required to carry out a variety of duties whilst on-site to ensure there is a safe and productive workplace and an efficient business environment.
The duties you will be required to undertake may vary depending on the workload and shift - you must hold a Reach truck D2 licence in order to fulfil the company requirements.
Main Activities
- Booking goods in and out
- General warehouse office duties when required
- Loading & unloading vehicles
- Updating warehouse systems, ensuring a high degree of accuracy
- Ensure that all items that arrive and are dispatched are recorded on the appropriate paperwork and follow the agreed process
- Loading & unloading procedures are followed
- When loading vehicles ensure the load is correct and fit for Transit
- Adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy at all times
- Ensure that all processes are adhered to at all times and all paperwork is completed correctly and ready for input
- Fork Lift Truck operation (D2 licence 8m and above is a must)
- In addition to your normal duties you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business and flexibility should be recognised as paramount to the role
Key Skills and Experience
- Experienced Warehouse person with at least 2 years experience
- Commitment to the highest standards of health & safety and environmental protection
- Warehouse Admin, stock control including perpetual stock checks
- Counter Balance, Reach Truck D2, Fork Lift Truck
- Computer literate, able to use Stock control systems.
Day shift rotation from 7am till 6pm working 8.5 hours per day
Paying £12.50 per hour
