Animal Assisted Learning Qualified Teacher

We are looking for an Animal Care Teacher for our expanding highly successful farm school near Minehead - the ability to use cross curricular learning outcomes from the national curriculum is essential.

This role will suit a qualified teacher with a personal passion for animal care and husbandry (domestic and farm) who is looking for a more holistic teaching approach, with the child at the centre.

We require an outgoing and confident person with a joy for animals to take our children’s work with our animals to the next level in our specialised SEN environment.

Salary

  • £30,000 (NQT) to £34,213 gross per annum FTE

Hours: Full Time Mon to Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm

Salary above is for 40 hours per week working term time, inset and parent’s days.
