Description

  • Live the Safety stand and adhere to safety responsibilities
  • Follow the quality procedures for each customer, using the tools provided, e.g. AWAQS, to ensure that products are within specification and quality standards.
  • Investigate any internal/external complaints arising within their team or others and reporting outcomes to the Quality and Production Leader. The role requires a competence in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Troubleshoot process problems to ensure a rapid resolution which minimises all losses.
  • Plan and implement improvements to exceed targets with operators and support staff. Participates in small projects to drive improvement.
  • Ability to understand and become competent in the manufacturing processes of not just your area, but the areas of others to make informed decisions to minimise loss and improve performance.

Profile

A successful Shift Manager should have:

Minimum HNC qualification or equivalent

People leadership experience is advantageous but not essential.

Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to enhance this skillset through our company's designed approach.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Results-driven with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

Job Offer

  • Eligible for the site quarterly bonus (maximum payout 3.5k / year).
  • 7.5% employer pension contribution for a 5% employee contribution.
  • Overtime eligible at attractive rates (1.5x on weekdays, 2x on weekends + weekendpayment of 135)
