As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support and enhance the learning experience for all students, ensuring they receive the individual attention and encouragement they need to thrive. Your role will be key in creating an inclusive, stimulating, and positive environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom management.
  • Assist with planning and preparing learning resources.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with varying needs.
  • Encourage and promote student independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to the overall school life and community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Be patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting students' learning.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both with students and staff.
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and a team player.
  • Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential.
