Are you an experienced and passionate Special Needs Teacher looking for a rewarding role? We are seeking a dedicated professional with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a thriving special needs school in South West London, supporting students with complex learning needs.
Key Details:Special Needs Teacher
- Location: South West London
- Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Start Date: September 2025
- Salary: Excellent rates of pay (competitive and based on experience)
Responsibilities:Special Needs Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with complex needs
- Support the development of students communication, social, and life skills
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Assess and monitor individual student progress, adapting learning plans as necessary
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic approach to education
- Implement behaviour and sensory strategies to support students engagement and development
Requirements:Special Needs Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with children or young people with complex learning needs
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and teaching approaches
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a passion for supporting student development
