A Behaviour Mentor is needed in Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Behaviour Mentor post will be full time and long term, with scope to go permanent.

The working hours for this Behaviour Mentor role will 8am to 4pm.

If appointed as a Behaviour Mentor you will work in the SEN Department and be expected to:

  • Support pupils in small groups and 1:1 basis
  • Work alongside the SEN Lead to create plans for pupils work programmes
  • Assist class teachers during lessons
  • Occasionally cover classes for short periods when the teacher needs to leave the room

The rates of pay for this Behaviour Mentor role will be between £90 and £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Secondary school and sixth form in South London, located near a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI).

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.

Requirements

You will be considered if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Behaviour Mentor.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Behaviour Mentor or overseas trained Behaviour Mentor.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Behaviour Mentor:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience as a Behaviour Mentor in UK schools or working knowledge of supporting children/young people
