Social Worker (NHS) - Paying up to £32
Location: South London
Pay Rate: £32 per hour (via Comensura)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Contract Length: 3-6 months ongoing
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join a dynamic NHS team based in South London. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals and families, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients' social care needs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement care plans that promote independence, safety, and well-being.
- Provide emotional and practical support to patients and their families, ensuring a person-centred approach.
- Liaise effectively with external agencies and community services to coordinate care and access appropriate resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records in accordance with NHS and legal requirements.
- Advocate for patients' rights and work to safeguard vulnerable individuals.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the NHS or healthcare sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
