Reed HRÂ are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established educational trust. This is a 3-month interim contract where you will play a crucial role in supporting the trust's objectives and promoting a positive organisational culture.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage actively in the performance review process, setting and addressing appraisal targets with the line manager each autumn term.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance personal growth and effectiveness within the role.
- Promote equal opportunities and celebrate diversity across the organisation.
- Contribute to the community by supporting the aims and ethos of the trust, encouraging staff and students to participate actively.
- Support and attend various events organised by the trust.
- Uphold and actively promote the trust’s corporate policies.
- Comply with health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all academy and trust policies, particularly those related to conduct, child protection, health, safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting any concerns to the appropriate person.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures relevant to education.
