Our client based in South West London is highly regarded for the quality of work they undertake with high net-worth clients within the super-prime residential sector, projects range from new builds to conversions and the extension & refurbishment of existing homes, including listed buildings and country house estates.

Initially you will be responsible for two medium sized projects with build values of c1m and c2m respectively.

Reporting directly to the Contracts Director, you will have achieved at least an HNC in Quantity Surveying and have a solid background in main contracting or experience in the high-end residential sector. You will be expected to manage the cost/value dynamic of the projects assigned.

Duties to include:

  • Prepare and regularly maintain cost-to-complete reports;
  • Prepare and present monthly valuations;
  • Review drawing revisions; measure, cost, and present project variations;
  • Assist in the preparation of RFIs, CVIs, and delay notices;
  • Attend site and periodic site progress meetings;
  • Provide regular commercial input to the Contracts Director for progress reports;
  • Produce and issue post-contract subcontractor enquiries; assess, negotiate, and issue bespoke sub-contract orders, demonstrating best value against budget;
  • Manage sub-contractor accounts;
  • Produce cashflow reports;
  • Provide support during the estimation of future projects, including take-offs, preparation of bills/schedules for pricing, and equalisation of quotations and tender return;
  • Liaise with all levels of the wider construction and professional team, including clients;
  • Work closely with the Site Manager to reduce costs, aid efficiency, and maximise profits;
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail.

Desirable :

  • UK Driving Licence.
