Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs School (PRU) in Mitcham, South London.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with secondary-aged pupils who have been referred to the PRU due to their behavioural or medical needs. You will provide in-class support, assist with tailored educational plans, and help students develop key skills in a structured yet nurturing environment. Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Mitcham Full-Time: 5 days per week Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM plus parents evenings Daily Rate: GBP100 Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Contract Type: Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent SCHOOL TYPE: A community special school that caters to pupils aged 5 to 16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It offers both primary and secondary education. SEN NEEDS: ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and related behavioural needs. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS: At least one years experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs (SEN).
