Key Responsibilities: As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our client's financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Matching, checking, and processing invoices.
  • Performing data entry tasks.
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and banking contacts.
  • Maintaining accounts and verifying and posting transactions.
  • Sales order processing.
  • Handling telephone calls and purchase order requests via email.
  • General office administration duties and support with other departments when required.

What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Administration or Purchase Ledger.
  • A confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • IT competent and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel, Merlin would be advantageous.
  • A clear and full driving license.
