Key Responsibilities: As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Matching, checking, and coding invoices
  • Filing invoices and performing data entry tasks
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and banking contacts
  • Maintaining accounts and verifying and posting transactions
  • Managing the sales ledger and processing sales orders
  • Handling telephone calls and purchase order requests via email
  • Arranging shipments and coordinating with courier and freight forwarding companies
  • General office administration duties

What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping
  • A confident telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • A clear and full driving license.
