Responsible for creating innovative market strategies and imaginative communication methods to secure meetings with prospect clients. Thorough research and ability to communicate and engage face to face with key stakeholders and clients will play a key part of this dynamic and rewarding role with opportunities for creativity 

What will you be doing? 

  • Winning new business through client meetings will also be a key part of this role, as well as maintaining in-depth records of all contacts and activities. 
  • Managing and carrying out strategic communication with prospect clients with a goal to securing meetings and attending meetings to win new business 
  • Learning and understanding the apprenticeship market landscape and be able to explain our offer to prospect clients 
  • Maintaining and updating CRM systems 
  • Maintain the pipeline of key contacts and keep a record of all communication  
  • Support with sales meetings remotely across the UK to win new business 
  • Develop fun and engaging client specific content for presentations and handouts  
  • Ability to read, understand and disseminate key information about new government policies on apprenticeships 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout Lifetime  
  • Identify business networking events and exhibitions and conferences 
  • Utilising a variety of social media websites aimed at business professionals to source key information 
  • Evaluate the market landscape (including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses) and scope out opportunities within the sectors 
  • You may also be required to undertake additional duties that are necessary to effectively deliver the responsibilities and objectives of the role 

What will you bring to the role?

  • Ability to communicate effectively at senior level in a professional manner both verbal and written 
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on prioritising tasks effectively 
  • A good technical ability is needed, around areas such as social learning platforms 
  • Creativity and a natural flair for ‘thinking outside the box’  
  • Good level of focus is required 
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment 
  • Excellent social and relationship building skills 
  • Excellent IT skills and writing skills 

It would be great if you had: 

  • Experience of engaging in business development activities, or a customer facing role  
  • Experience of working in an admin or a marketing role
