Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate monthly management account and presenting the information to the directors
- Working with Sales & Purchase Ledger Clerks
- Month-end processes, journals, pre-payments and accruals, and reconciliation of the balance sheet.
- Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Providing insightful investigations into process costs and variances; implementing and monitoring financial and operational costs
- Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis
- Liaising with different departments to obtain operational and financial data
- Preparing financial information for Year end Accounts
- Experience in foreign exchange and export transactions is an advantage
- Ad hoc projects as required
Skills and experience required:
- Part qualified ACCA/ CIMA (Essential)
- Experience in producing a set of management accounts.
- Previous experience within the manufacturing sector is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
