For the successful Highways Operative our client is offering:
- £12.85 per hour
- Day work 7.30am to 5.30pm Mon - Thurs or Tues - Friday shifts.
- Long Term Temporary position
- Regular Overtime available paid at time and a half
The role - Highways Operative:
- Flagging
- Tarmacking
- Rebuilding Gullies
- Labouring
- Laying Kerbs
- Slurry Seals
- Operating whacker plates and rollers
- Manual handling
- Assisting trades men and Chargehands
What our client is looking for in a Highways Operative:
- Labouring, groundworks or highways experience - ESSENTIAL
- Be methodical and have excellent attention to detail skills
- Ability to time manage and prioritise work loads
- Ability to meet targets set and expectations ahead of time.
- Driving licence - ESSENTIAL
- CSCS Card - PREFERRED
