Full Job Description:
As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems within modular buildings. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring that all installations meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and compliance.
Responsibilities & Activities:
- Carry out electrical installations, wiring, and testing in modular building units.
- Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and complies with relevant regulations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues as required during the installation process.
- Collaborate with other trades and site teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including test certificates and reports.
- Adhere to strict Health & Safety protocols on-site.
- Perform final inspections and ensure installations meet client specifications and requirements.
Requirements:
- ECS Gold Card (essential).
- Proven experience in commercial electrical work, ideally within modular or prefabricated construction.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to work in Crewe.
- Flexibility to meet project deadlines and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
